Southern Cross Technologies follows the Software Life Cycle Model (SLCM) for initiation, development and maintenance of IT systems. In order to ensure the developed system me- et the business needs, work properly, be effectively developed and be well maintained, standards and guidelines are essential through out the whole Software Life Cycle. The purpose of this document is to introduce the Software Life Cycle Model adopted by Southern Cross Technologies, together with the established set of standards and guidelines. SLCM [ fig 1.0 ] The SLCM model addresses both development and maintenance of IT systems.
